O que me levou a escrever este Post, foi a necessidade de divulgar um estado tão lindo como Santa Catarina. Depois que eu voltei da Itália, percebi como o Brasil é mal divulgado lá fora, conversando com alguns italiano, a visão que eles tem do Brasil, é que aqui possue só São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador e a mata Amazônica enconstada com estes estados. Sem falar dos americanos e britânicos que imaginam que nós andamos sem roupa pelas ruas e com macacos nos ombros. Mas isso não é só culpa dos Governantes, que são sabem divulgar seus estados, ou das agências de viagem. Muitas vezes é culpa dos proprios brasileiros, que quando estão lá fora, fazem tudo errado, deixando uma imagem negativa do Brasil. Mas está na hora de mudar esta história, apresento a vocês o estado de SANTA CATARINA a Bela e Santa Catarina.

As dimensões territoriais abrangem uma área de 95.346,181 km², sendo pouco maior do que a Hungria, limitadas aos estados do Paraná (ao norte) e Rio Grande do Sul (ao sul), ao Oceano Atlântico (a leste) e à Argentina (a oeste). A costa oceânica tem cerca de 450 km, ou seja, aproximadamente metade da costa continental de Portugal (943 km). Sua capital e sede de governo é a cidade de Florianópolis, localizada na Ilha de Santa Catarina. Inteiramente ao sul do trópico de Capricórnio, localizado na zona temperada meridional do planeta, o estado possui clima subtropical. Estas condições variam de acordo com o relevo regional, sendo que no oeste e planalto serrano é relativamente comum a ocorrência de geadas e neve, enquanto no litoral o clima é mais quente podendo atingir altas temperaturas durante a temporada de verão. Sem falar, que é um povo alegre e contagiante, e muito hospedereiro. Isso podemos dizer que é consequência de sua mescla de etnias.Em termos históricos, sua colonização foi largamente efetuada por imigrantes europeus: os portugueses açorianos colonizaram o litoral no século XVIII; os alemães colonizaram o Vale do Itajaí, parte da região sul e o norte catarinense em meados do século XIX; e os italianos colonizaram o sul do estado no final do mesmo século. O oeste catarinense foi colonizado por gaúchos de origem italiana e alemã na primeira metade do século XX. Santa Catarina é conhecida por ser Europa brasileira.
